We will work with the Department for International Trade (DIT) on national and global strategic marketing to attract investment into the area and stimulate exporting through the DIT Export Academy. Our gateway policies will ensure that businesses locating in the Freeport are not displaced from elsewhere in the UK, thus delivering additionality.
